Elizabeth Cady Stanton (one of my personal heroes) said that "fifty, not fifteen is the heyday of life." I think that you can find a personal heyday at any age, and that's what I help my clients do.

Coaching is an investment of your time and resources to build a more satisfying and meaningful future for yourself. My role is to be a discerning listener, supportive cheerleader, wise advisor, and gentle accountability partner as you align your work with your goals and values. I can help you gain clarity, visualize the future you want, identify and overcome barriers, and stay motivated.

I specialize in working with

·       Clients who are navigating transitions--who have decided that something major has to shift in their lives. You may be coping with an empty nest, an unexpected change like loss of a job or a loved one, or a welcome change like a long-awaited promotion. Or perhaps you’re seeking a new career, launching a new business, or considering retirement. I can help you map a path forward.

·       Clients with an academic background--graduate students, independent scholars, faculty members, and administrators. I can help you with pre-tenure career management, tenure or promotion narratives, mid-career transitions, progressing with research and writing projects, job searches inside and outside the academy, shifts to administrative and leadership roles, managing relationships within departments and institutions, balancing the demands of teaching, research, and service, and navigating the publication process.
